Congratulations!
The College of Management, Tunghai University, is now AACSB-accredited.
As per the decision by the Board of Directors of AACSB International, the College of Management, Tunghai University, is AACSB-accredited as of February 20, 2018.
The College of Management obtained the AACSB membership in October 2012. Since then, its faculty, students, administrators, staff, alumni, and industry associates have actively participated in the team work for AACSB business accreditation. Over the past years and with the invaluable mentoring service by Dean Lawrence Rose of the California State University San Bernardino, the College has gradually established well-functioning processes for quality and strategic management, assurance of learning, and faculty qualification. The College has also constantly received strong support from the University. From November 12 to 15, 2017, the College of Management welcomed the AACSB Peer Review Team (PRT) members, Chair Geoff Perry, Dean Manuel Agosin, and Dean Michael Solt. Following the visit, the PRT has confirmed overall high quality and significant engagement, innovation, and impact outcomes demonstrated by the College.
Currently, the College of Management consists of the Departments of Business Administration, International Business, Accounting, Statistics, Finance, and Information Management, two Executive MBA (EMBA) classes for CEOs and managers, and one English-teaching Global MBA (GMBA) class. The College is to advance, through continuous improvement, in the faculty member’s pioneering research projects, teaching excellence, and practice programs, the student’s global professionalism and leadership, and integration of alumni networks and resources worldwide. The College is also to accelerate and deepen collaborations with leading AACSB-accredited business schools across continents for a further step toward sustainable development and internationalization in the long term.
